Don’t Forget to Eat your Cruciferous Veggies

DIM (3,3’ Diindolylmethane), a powerful super antioxidant, is derived from the digestion of indole-3-carbinol which is found in cruciferous vegetables such as kale, Brussels sprouts, cauliflower and broccoli. Unless you’re up to the challenge of eating two pounds of cabbage daily, a supplement containing DIM may be right for you.

DIM supports the production of key estrogen metabolites in men and women, helping balance estrogen metabolism.

DIM is frequently used to help treat benign prostatic hypertrophy or BPH.

DIM has been shown to lower PSA levels in 28 days.

DIM has been shown to improve markers associated with cervical dysplasia (abnormal pap) within 12 weeks.

DIM may help prevent breast, uterine, or colon cancer due to its ability to modulate estrogens. Also for this reason, it is often helpful for women suffering from PMS.

DIM is believed to help fight inflammation in the body which helps fight immune dysfunction, generalized pain, and malabsorption of nutrients.

The National Institutes of Health is conducting a study focusing on DIM to treat breast, cervical and prostate cancers.

EstroFx, a product in our store, contains DIM. Ask a staff member is this supplement is right for you.
